Military Funerals
The one stipulation that Neil gave in joining Ivor Thomas Funerals is that we offered military-style funerals for those who have served our country.
We will provide a bugler to play The Last Post, a standard bearer, coffin drapes and regimental music to give your loved one the recognition that they deserve for putting their life at risk for our safety.
Although there is normally a charge for these services, this will be deducted if they have a campaign medal.
DIY Funerals
We believe that every family should have the input that they want and have on several occasions assisted with DIY Funerals. If you are happy to complete the paperwork and administration, we are happy to just assist with what you are unable to provide yourself; whether it is a hearse, a coffin or even just the printing of the orders of service, we are here to help.

Green Funerals
We at Ivor Thomas Funerals believe that everyone must do their bit for the environment and factors into every decision we make. This starts at not embalming unless the family specifically request it, to using a UK coffin manufacturer who is proudly carbon negative. This is why we also offer to offset the carbon produced from any funeral by planting trees and giving the option of dedicating them to your loved one. We also offer Somerset grown and made coffins that take even more CO2 out of the atmosphere and being the proud creators of the UK’s first electrical bike hearse.
