Eco-Coffins

Eco-coffins are becoming increasingly popular as people are making more environmentally conscious decisions. We offer a wide range of more eco-friendly alternatives to the traditional wooden coffin including enivrboard coffins, banana leaf coffins, water hyacinth coffins, wicker coffins, bamboo coffins, untreated FSC certified solid pine coffins, seagrass coffins, cardboard coffins, and even British wool coffins and Somerset grown and made natural willow coffins. American Caskets

Whereas a coffin is tapered at the shoulder with a removable lid, an American style casket is rectangular in shape with a hinged lid. We are proud to say that we can supply a beautiful range of caskets to suit a wide variety of needs for funerals across Cardiff, Caerphilly and the wider area. Urns & Caskets

Urns and caskets are the vessels used in order for the ashes to be held. We offer a wide variety of urns and caskets to suit everyone’s needs including more traditional hardwood caskets, scatter tubes (made to make the scattering of a loved one more dignified) and even water caskets – the perfect way to rest a loved one’s ashes at sea.

Keepsakes

It can be extremely important for some to keep a piece of their loved one with them following the funeral, which is why we offer to take a fingerprint, a lock of hair or a small amount of the ashes for you to make something special. We offer a wide range of options, including a discount from companies such as EverWith, Ashes Into Glass, Ashes Memorial Jewellery and Hold Upon Heart to name but a few. We have also teamed up with a local turner to make bespoke resin and resin/wood hybrid ornaments such as candle holders, vases and decorative bowls in which the ashes or can be integrated with.

As Neil served his apprenticeship as a carpenter and enjoys wood carving and wood turning in his spare time; he has made and turned a large variety of caskets and urns from locally grown and sourced wood. His work includes handmade mahogany caskets, chestnut urns, ash keepsakes and even yew candle holders that can contain a portion of the ashes.
